Our goal is to breed hardy, friendly, healthy, family-sized milking cows (midsize/miniature) with high fat/protein genetics and exceptional milk flavor for single-cow origin ice-cream, cheese and fresh milk.

CANDY

Standard Jersey, A1/A2

DOB: 6/23/2012

Candy is our herd matriarch. She produced 2-4 gallons per day on once/day milking while calf sharing. Her milk is high fat (~7%) and protein (~4.5%). She is dam to M&M, Twx, Butterscotch and S'mores, and Granddam to Krackle and Cadbury. She has never had mastitis or milk fever and calves easily. She does require some grain while milking, and we fed a locally sourced organic blend which she adores. She is currently retired to a large pasture, enjoying herself.

M&M

M&M had her first calf (Cadbury) in 2020. She has a great temperament and learned milking within just a few weeks. We aren't sure where she got her slightly fuzzy coat, but it will probably keep her warmer in the winter than her sleek mom.

Cadbury is Connorridge Farms's first bull calf, and the friendliest calf we've met. His dam is Connorridge Farm's M&M. He will be moving off the farm to a new herd in the next few weeks.
